Cytotechnologists, Rachel McMahon Erin McCarthy are organizing a fundraiser called Shave to Save to benefit cancer research and patient care at the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center and at American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, WI. Participants in this fundraiser are accepting the challenge to shave their heads and raise funds by asking family, friends, and colleagues to make a tax deductible donation in support of the cause. There is no fee to participate in this fundraiser, and 100% of the proceeds will be split between these two great organizations.

If you would like to join us and become a “shavee”, all you have to do is visit www.uwhealth.org/shave and click “Register Now”. If you prefer to keep your hair but would like to make a contribution, click on “Donate” or “Find a Participant” to direct funds to a certain individual’s fundraising page.
