Fine Needle Aspiration Procurement and Specimen Preparation Learning Module
This module was developed in response to that fact that many laboratories are experiencing an increase in the number of FNA procedures. This may prompt an increase in the number of cytotechnologists and other laboratory personnel assisting with these procedures and specimens.
This module provides fundamental information about FNA procurement and processing and may supplement orientation and competency materials. The content is suitable for cytotechnologists, pathology residents, cytotechnology students and other laboratory personnel handling FNA specimens.
